Anita Bansal is the co-founder and principal director of SAA. She studied architecture at Chandigarh College of Architecture, graduating in 1980 with first class honors’ and distinction. On graduation she joined a private based practice in Chandigarh before joining SAA in 1982.

Over the last three decades, Anita has shaped the vision of the firm, which is now responsible for a strikingly wide range of work from institutional infrastructure to workplaces to residential complexes in public and private section. Since its inception, the practice under her leadership has successfully delivered more than 200 projects ranging from educational, residential, commercial, recreational and healthcare.

Through this experience she has achieved a comprehensive understanding of all types of construction technologies and as a result she is able to complement her design skills with clear understanding of construction work. Anita leads the architectural design division of SAA utilizing her holistic approach to design and constantly targeting improvement.
